I just downloaded Sheila Gregoire’s new book on preparing our girls to “resist toxic teaching in sex, self, and speaking up.” I have no connection with that book, but I’d be interested to read your thoughts on it.
This is a very important topic. I was in my 50's before my Christian friends helped me to feel safe to talk about childhood abuse after hearing others share their stories. Found an online course to learn tools for healing. Very helpful to have special support of other survivors .
Would love to chat sometime. My late husband and I taught biblical counseling in quite a few countries and he helped to start CCEF in Philly and San Diego.
